Who We Are
Founder: Shola Gbemi, MS.Ed
Shola Gbemi is an author, entrepreneur, & social impact strategist with expertise in civic engagement, community partnerships, and public policy. His essay’s on race and popular culture appear in Blavity, 21Ninety, and BTheChange. His debut novel, They Were Chosen, examines race and sexual violence in New York City during the Black Lives Matter movement. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Binghamton University with minors in Education & Africana Studies. He also earned a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Pennsylvania.
